DORA

Designing a Brand Guide for IFP 2025.

IFP Season 15 – 50 Hours Design Challenge.
Gold Brand Book of the Year 2025.

About the project

Last year, I participated in the “Indian Film Project (IFP) – 50 Hours Design Challenge” and won Gold in the Brand Book Design category. This international-level design competition challenges creatives to conceptualize and execute a complete design solution within a strict 50-hour timeframe.

The brief was intriguing: “What if a fictional character starts their own brand?” With limited time and complete creative freedom, the challenge pushed my skills in brand strategy, visual identity design, and storytelling.

I chose a humorous and culturally relevant approach – reimagining Dora as the founder of her own brand. A character that has been widely memed and trolled for over two decades, Dora became the perfect subject to flip the narrative and transform satire into a strong branding concept.

The project explored key branding questions: What would Dora’s brand be? Who would it speak to? What would its visual language look like?

From concept to execution, the entire brand book design was completed in just 12–14 hours, well within the challenge window. The final outcome demonstrates my ability to think strategically, work under extreme time pressure, and deliver a cohesive, award-winning brand identity.

Here’s what it looked like
